38 weeks and all is well...

Well, we have made it to 38 weeks. The doctor said she might have felt a dimple, but no other developments have happened. She also said "I think I will be seeing you at your regular appointment next week", so we aren't anticipating to much for the beginning of this week....but anything can happen. We both have our bags packed, cameras charged, and are are ready for action. Now we just have to hope the baby doesn't decide to come before Friday.

Why Friday you ask? Well the main reason stems from Sara's dad. This past Friday he went into the hospital to have his appendix removed due a mass that was discovered during a checkup. Once into surgery they also found a small mass on his colon and decided to remove a portion of that as well to be safe. Latest reports have him in good spirits, moving around the hospital, and starting to get some food back into his system. If everything goes smoothly, he hopes to be discharged early this week. We are thankful that he is doing well and their have been no complications to speak off. Unfortunately we were not able to be there this weekend due to traveling restrictions from Sara's doctor, but we know we will see him soon as he is holding his new grandchild for the first time. (Thanks Bill for being there for support this weekend)
